album library applets (2026-10-27)¶

Branch claude/applets-rare-2026-10-27, built on the libapplet_register_handler hook of applets-host. Linux cloud: tested, not verified (no macOS build).

runtime/src/services/applet_web_core.[ch]: WebArgs parse (header {u16 entries; u16 pad; u32 shim} + TLVs {u16 type; u16 size; u32 pad}; url, callback url, document path/kind, application id, screenshot flag), web_offline_resolve (strips offline:, query/fragment, rejects .. and backslashes, directory -> index.html, checks the file exists under the HtmlDocument root), web_file_url, WebCommonReturnValue encoding (0x1010), and one handler for ids 0x13 (web) and 0x17 (offline web). applet_web_register() registers both; the HTML root comes from applet_web_set_html_root() or NAPPLE_HTML_ROOT.
runtime/src/services/applet_album_core.[ch]: photo viewer (0x15) over caps_core public calls: args {u8 mode; u8 content}, list, decoded image shown through a hook, select mode returns the picked 0x20-byte entry (AlbumResult 0x28), view always succeeds, select with no pick / empty album is cancelled. The caps state is static in caps.c, so it is handed over with applet_album_set_source().
runtime/src/services/applet_ui.h: frontend hooks applet_ui_open_web(url, offline, last_url, cap) and applet_ui_show_image(...), null defaults (web: user leaves at once on the requested page with exit reason "requested"; album: nothing is picked). A WKWebView / image viewer registers later on the Mac.
Tests: runtime/tests/test_svc_applet_web.c (128 checks) and test_svc_applet_album.c (57 checks), run with sh runtime/tests/linux/run_applet.sh applet_web applet_album.

Verified vs not: all tested on Linux only. Tag numbers, exit-reason numbering, shim kinds and the album argument/result layouts are from memory of libnx's public headers and are [unverified] against a title. Nothing calls applet_web_register() / applet_album_register() / applet_album_set_source() yet (applet.c and caps.c are not this branch's files): see the integrator file.
